Who can take part in the MEDEMIE online courses?
The online courses are intended exclusively for licensed physicians who wish to train in aesthetic medicine. Depending on the course level (basic course / advanced), prior knowledge is not always required.
Are the courses certified by the State Chamber of Physicians (Ärztekammer) and do they award CME credits?
Not at present: the MEDEMIE online courses are currently not CME-certified. After passing the knowledge assessment you receive a MEDEMIE certificate of participation.
How long do I have access to the course content?
After purchase you have permanent access to all course content — with no expiry date and no subscription. You can revisit the content at any time and as often as you like.
Do I receive a certificate after the course?
Yes, after passing the knowledge assessment (multiple-choice test) you receive a digital MEDEMIE certificate as a PDF.
Are MEDEMIE courses independent of companies and products?
Yes. Our courses are independent of companies and products. Industry projects are carried out clearly separately from independent training formats and are transparently identified as such.
What access to the community do I get with a course?
With every course you gain access to the MEDEMIE® Community — a closed network of more than 2,000 licensed physicians in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). It is where case discussions, exchange with experts and networking take place.
Are there hands-on workshops that match the online courses?
Yes. MEDEMIE offers hands-on workshops whose content builds on the online courses. The next step after the theoretical online course is to consolidate it in practice in a workshop format — with direct feedback from experts.
Which topics do the online courses cover?
The entire spectrum of aesthetic injection medicine: facial anatomy (basic & advanced), botulinum toxin (basic & advanced), hyaluronic acid fillers (lips & perioral indications), the lower third of the face and digital practice marketing.
