About the course

This course is aimed at physicians who already have basic knowledge of working with botulinum toxin and wish to extend their knowledge to complex indications, advanced techniques and demanding patient cases. The focus is on topics such as baby Botox, combination therapies with fillers, hyperhidrosis treatment and masseter treatment for bruxism.

In the advanced course you deepen your knowledge of botulinum toxin type A beyond the classic area of the upper third of the face. You learn to treat the middle and lower thirds of the face, to perform combination therapies safely and to respond individually to complex patient cases.

Particular weight is given to complication management: asymmetries, unwanted ptosis and serious adverse effects are analysed using case examples, and the corresponding corrective measures are presented.

About the scientific lead

Dr. Dr. Christina Irene Günter

Dr. Dr. Christina Irene Günter is a specialist in plastic and aesthetic surgery, licensed and clinically active in Germany (EU), Switzerland and Kuwait. She has been active as a lecturer in plastic and aesthetic surgery since 2010 and has approx. 15 years of experience in the use of injectables and approx. 10 years of experience as a trainer. Since 2015 she has organised and led hands-on workshops for injectables. Dr. Dr. Günter has published more than 25 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals and more than 15 scientific book chapters. She has been active as a speaker at international congresses since 1998 and regularly publishes contributions in the international specialist press, the daily press and on TV.
