The workshop begins with the fundamentals: the mechanism of action of botulinum toxin type A, the relevant anatomy of the upper third of the face, the products available on the market and the current state of scientific knowledge. This is followed by the main focus of the day – practice.
The entire treatment process is shown and explained on a model: from the consultation through planning to the injection. You may bring your own model. In addition, there are pointers on patient and practice management and on dealing with possible complications.
The workshop takes place at the I ME MINE Ästhetik practice, Ernst-Gnoß-Straße 1, 40219 Düsseldorf. Those who wish to work through the theory at their leisure beforehand begin with the online basic course; an overview of all the building blocks can be found under Botox course for doctors.
The training courses are aimed exclusively at licensed physicians. The basic course is a Botox course for beginners: it is suitable for getting started, and prior knowledge of aesthetic medicine is not required.
