For some years now, botulinum toxin type A has been one of the most sought-after active substances in aesthetic medicine. In Germany, various preparations are available for aesthetic medical indications, including Botox® and Vistabel® (Allergan Pharmaceuticals), Azzalure® (Galderma Laboratorium GmbH) and Bocouture® (Merz Pharma GmbH & Co. KG). In common usage, Botox® is often used synonymously for all botulinum toxin preparations.
The active substance can be used in many ways, but it also requires in-depth know-how and experience in order to ensure effective and safe treatment for patients. With our courses for beginners and advanced practitioners, we wish to contribute to quality in aesthetic medicine.
In our course we concentrate on an exchange of knowledge and experience between the participants and experienced specialists. In addition to an introduction to the theoretical fundamentals and the discussion of scientific standards, participants also receive practical knowledge. The practical part illustrates the entire treatment process, from the consultation through the planning of the treatment sequence to the performance of the injection.
The online course “Botulinum toxin basic course” teaches the basic knowledge for the safe use of botulinum toxin type A for wrinkle treatment in the face. The treatment is demonstrated using three exemplary indications: glabellar lines, lateral canthal lines and forehead lines. In addition to the treatment techniques and patient consultation, you receive information on possible risks and complications and on the options for treating them.
After the course, you will be able to:
