Wrinkle and volume treatments using fillers are, together with botulinum toxin treatments, the most popular minimally invasive procedures in aesthetic medicine. Dermal fillers such as hyaluronic acid have made a name for themselves, in particular thanks to their good tolerability. In addition, they can be used for various indications. Not only can wrinkles be smoothed with the aid of fillers; individual contours can also be accentuated and volume visibly increased. Besides wrinkle treatment, lip enlargement or lip contouring is also a popular area of application for dermal fillers.
Despite their good tolerability, fillers come in for criticism from time to time because of unnatural results, unwelcome adverse effects and health risks. The reasons for such complications can mostly be traced back to a lack of knowledge and experience. For safe treatment and harmonious results, know-how in injection therapy with fillers such as hyaluronic acid is decisive. With our filler course for physicians, we wish to contribute to the deepening of knowledge and to practical performance in this field. The specialist course is aimed at physicians who wish to undertake further training in the use of dermal fillers for the lips and the perioral area.
In addition to an introduction to the theoretical fundamentals of treatment with dermal fillers, our participants also gain a deeper insight into practice (facial analysis and drawing up a treatment plan on the model, injection points, injection techniques). All relevant areas of injection treatment are covered and illustrated: from the patient consultation and advice through the drawing up of the individual treatment concept to performance and aftercare. Legal questions are also addressed in the specialist filler course.
The specialist course on dermal fillers focuses on the lips and the perioral area. This part of the face is one of the most sought-after areas for minimally invasive treatment. In-depth know-how and experience are required in order to perform the injection therapies safely and achieve the desired natural-looking result. The filler course teaches the basic theoretical knowledge of injection therapy with hyaluronic acid and illustrates it using pre-recorded treatment examples.
As a participant, you become familiar with the particular features of the preparations customary on the market and learn how they can be used for different indications and with regard to the anatomy. In addition to the precise treatment techniques, the filler course also provides information on optimal patient and practice management. Furthermore, it addresses possible adverse effects or complications and how these can be treated. The special feature: the course teaches not only the treatment itself but the entire sequence (preparation, consultation, performance, post-treatment care) in practical terms on models.
After passing the knowledge check, you receive a MEDEMIE certificate of participation.
After the course, you will be able to:
