Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) stimulates the body's own collagen formation and thus works differently from a filler. In the PLLA workshops you learn reconstitution, establishing the indication and injection technique – for the face, for the body and in combination with hyaluronic acid.
| Workshop | Focus | Most recently |

Avoiding and treating adverse effects, such as nodules
Pathophysiology of facial ageing: bone, fat, skin
PLLA calls for a different approach from hyaluronic acid: the result develops over weeks, technique determines distribution and tolerability, and reconstitution and aftercare follow their own rules. The workshops therefore first teach the mode of action and how to establish the indication, and then move on to practice: demonstration by experienced users, followed by hands-on training on the model.
Current data on combining PLLA and hyaluronic acid – for example after weight loss under GLP-1 receptor agonists – are put into context in our expert article on GLP-1 and facial volume. The fundamentals of filler treatment are taught in the hyaluronic acid course in Düsseldorf.
Yes. Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) is one of the biostimulators: it stimulates the body's own collagen formation. The course is training in biostimulation with PLLA – covering mode of action, reconstitution, injection technique and hands-on practice on the model.
Sculptra contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biostimulator: it stimulates the body's own collagen formation, and the result builds up over weeks. Hyaluronic acid fillers, by contrast, act immediately through volume. In the masterclass you learn when which procedure, and when the combination, makes sense.
The training courses are aimed exclusively at licensed physicians. The Hyaluronic acid & Sculptra masterclass is aimed at physicians who wish to extend their range of aesthetic treatments.
Yes. The demonstration of the injection techniques is followed by hands-on training on the model under guidance.
Most recently €890 (face, March 2025), €1,190 (body, April 2025) and €1,500 (Hyaluronic acid & Sculptra masterclass, June 2026), each including VAT.
